THE SECRET LIFE OF ELLA AND MICHA BOOK REVIEW

The title of the book: The Secret Life of Ella and Micha, written by Jessica Sorensen.

Ella and Micha are best of friends since they were little. By the age of sixteen, hormones kicked in, Micha developed feelings for Ella and vice versa. But they couldn't admit it to each other until the night when Micha almost lost Ella forever. Ella's family problems, mom
committed suicide, alcoholic father, and a brother blaming her for their mother's death, Ella couldn't find any reason to stay. So she left, she left everything behind including her only best friend Micha.

Now Ella's back, she needs to face everything she left behind after eight months of hiding. And this time Micha is never going to let Ella go.

I've mentioned so many times that I love stories of best friends turning to lovers, like Sophie and Carter. No mistaking, this book a very similar to Sophie and Carter, the love story, the heavy drama, the very heavy family drama, but what I really hate about this book is not the story but how the story was told, the use of language, the reactions of the protagonists to every situation. It's like, the characters doesn't really grasp the reality of their situation, and the story is supposed to be dramatic, and they keep saying things like

"her ass looks good in her short shorts"

and i was like...

"ANO BEERRRR!!!"
(translation in tagalog: ano ba????, translation in english: WHAT THE HELL?!)

Waste of my time.  Can I give a number lower than one? .5 out of 5.
